| Aerospace Communications Systems, Inc., (ACS) is proud to announce that the APS106 single channel, six extension PBX system has successfully completed DO160D environmental testing. The tests, conducted by Elite Electronic Engineering, Downers Grove, IL, included temperature, vibration, altitude, and shock. ACS expects deliveries to start by the end of May 2003. The APS106 provides typical PBX functions such as Call Transferring and Intercom Calling rivaling systems many times its size and cost. The purpose of the PBX is to expand and enhance a single line telephone such as AirCell, Arnav, Blue Sky Network (C1000A), and Honeywell AirSat. Utilizing standard telephone Tip and Ring interface, it integrates telecommunications equipment including telephones, faxes, modems, and answering machines. The APS106 offers an excellent opportunity for installers to enhance new telephone installations with additional features and benefits, or, encourage an already valued customer to expand their existing system. ACS is also introducing the affordable ATS100 Handset with locking cradle and a series of telephone and network jacks. The ATS100 provides typical telephone functions such as Speed Dial Memory, Lighted Keypad, and 6 foot cord. The telephone and network jacks are small profile, less than an inch square, RJ11 and RJ45 jacks that offer easy installation with or without a pre-wired pigtail, and, are available in a variety of colors and labels. Also available are several small profile USB connectors and couplers.
